Code of Conduct

Fair and Fun For All

Our ‘Code of Conduct’ is applicable to all participants of Top End Judo Academy. This includes: players, coaches, spectators and parents.
•Always treat your training partners, coaches and team mates with respect.
•Bullying in any form will not be tolerated.
•Play by the rules at all times.
•Training is about developing skills in a fun and safe environment, not winning
•Participants are to be clean, showered and void of bad body odour, this includes clean clothing and gi’s (judo suits)
•No hard or metallic objects on the mat including jewelry and piercings.
•Rude language will not be tolerated.
•Apply all submissions with extreme care and control.
•Do not train when you are sick or feeling sick this includes skin infections.
•All cuts and abrasions must be covered adequately before commencing training.
•If you bleed on the mat please notify the coach so that the appropriate clean up can occur.

Dojo Rules

•Girls must wear a shirt under their suits (no spaghetti straps)
•Finger and toe nails need to be trimmed.
•All long hair needs to be tied back.
•No shoes on the mats, however shoes are to be worn when not on the mats for hygiene purposes.
•Do not talk when the coach is teaching
•If you sustain an injury prior to or during training notify the coach.
•Please maintain the great attitude and common courtesy that members already demonstrate.
